Meet Our Skilled Support Staff

Evelyn was born and raised in the picturesque town of Monterey, nestled in the heart of Tennessee. Driven by a passion for marine life, Evelyn pursued her education at the University of North Carolina-Wilmington, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in marine biology.

Mika is originally from Mississippi but loves the North Carolina coast she now calls home. Mika once decided to become a mime, convinced that she could tell compelling stories without words.

Cecilia has been in the veterinary field since 2003 and became a Licensed Veterinary Technician in 2008. She has worked with all kinds of animals from rodents to farm animals to cats and dogs. She enjoys spending time at the beach, knitting, hiking, and playing the violin.

Leeza has been in the veterinary field since 2013. She has worked in both general practice and emergency medicine. She has a dog named Sunny and two cats, Eleanor and Sadie! In her free time she enjoys hiking with her dog and spending time with friends and family!

Chrisie has been a member of the Holly Ridge Veterinary Hospital team since it's inception in 2015. She went to PennFoster for Veterinary Technology and attended veterinary dental prophylaxis and radiology training at the Veterinary Education Center in Charlotte, NC.

Sarah is originally from Lexington, Kentucky and received her college degree in Southern Indiana. She has called North Carolina home since 2014. Sarah loves animals and thoroughly enjoys getting to know them and their owners.

Becka is a busy mom to 2 boys and a military wife. She has been in the veterinary field for 16 years. She has worked in general practice, emergency, and at a vet tech school. This is her family’s second time in coastal NC and we’re so happy to be back. She is a crazy cat lady with 3 cats.
