Veterinarian
Dr. Abby Farmer attended NC State for her undergraduate degree in Animal Science prior to earning her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from NCSU College of Veterinary Medicine in May 2019. She then moved to Washington state to join her husband, also a veterinarian, after graduation where they lived and practiced for 2.5 years. At the start of 2022 they moved back to be closer to family and are thrilled to call NC home again! Dr. Farmer’s professional interests include preventative medicine, dentistry, internal medicine, and soft tissue surgery. She values client communication and maintaining a pleasant experience for each patient by using her Fear Free certification training. Outside of work, Dr. Farmer enjoys spending time outdoors, baking, and values time with family and friends. She has two cats, Sasha and Zoe, with hopes of adding a canine companion to the mix soon!
